La-La Land Crafts You Are One Smart Cookie

For your convenience, I have placed links to the products used in this post. These links are affiliate links which means I receive credit for the products purchased (at no cost to you) when they are used.

Hello! Happy Friday. I am hopping right back into crafting. It's been a busy week getting all these projects. I am enjoying the time in my craft room.

Today I am sharing a card for La-La Land Crafts Team Friday. Our theme this week is Critter Fun. La-La Land Crafts has LOTS of critters. The newest of which is a monkey! If you missed the monkey's debut, you can see him in my last blog post HERE.

I decided to pair Baker Luka with the adorable hamsters from the Eat More Cake Clear Stamp Set.

I have had Baker Luka colored and sitting on my craft table since he was released a few months ago. I knew exactly what I was going to do with him. I just needed the time and energy to make the card.

I used the Everything is Rosy Layering Stencil to create the patterned paper. Then I cut the center out with the Double Stitched Squares Die to create a frame.

I cut the Electric Mixer out using the Spring Has Sprung Paper Pack. The colors were not the right ones for this card so I colored over the patterned paper with Copic Markers. You can still see the pattern, which I love.

La-La Land Crafts Thank You Card

Hello friends! It's Friday and the last day of school for my kiddos. I am so excited to have them home for the summer. I had them make lists of things that they wanted to do over the summer. Some of the things on their lists...staying up late and SLEEPING IN, painting rocks, swimming, hiking, and much more. It will be fun helping them fulfill their lists.

Of course there will be plenty time for Mama to do some crafting. With and without them. I'm sure Echo will want to make some cards with me.

Cards like this Thank you card that I made for today's La-La Land Crafts inspiration post.

I thought Super Hero Luka was perfect for a masculine thank you card. I colored him with Copic markers. I totally rocked his hair! Lol...it's not often that I think that about the hair that I color. I really struggle with keeping smooth thin strokes.

Spring is Here! with La-La Land Crafts

Good morning! Today I am sharing a La-La Land Crafts card. The theme for the DT this week was spring. Aaahhh...Spring. That has a nice sound to it. Here in Palmer Alaska, we have about a foot and a half of snow. What's in the for cast for this weekend you ask? SNOW!!! So, spring is just something that I am daydreaming and crafting about =)

I used Picnic Marci for my spring card. Nothing says spring like picnics...and flowers. Can't forget the flowers. I used the Rolled Rose Small Medium Die to make the gorgeous roses. I love that die! The flowers are easy to make and take no time at all.

Picnic Marci is colored with Copic markers. You can find the combos I used below.

Of course I had to use the Stitched Sun and Clouds Set dies for my spring time. This is my favorite sun die of all time! When I saw it, I instantly fell in love.

Here's a list of all the La-La Land Crafts items used...

La-La Land Crafts Flapper Molli Easel Card

Hello and happy Friday crafty friends! I have been playing with the La-La Land Crafts new releases again. I just can't get enough of this release!

I used the adorable Flapper Molli for my project this week.

I colored Flapper Molli with Copic markers.

Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, E0000
Cheeks: R20
Lips: R46
Hair: E25, E33, E51
Dress: 110, C7, C5, C3

The flower on Flapper Molli's headband was made with the La-La Land Crafts Rolled Rose Small & Medium Die. I love this die! The flowers are so easy to make.

My thoughts with this card was to create a stage for Flapper Molli. I wanted to keep with black and white with little pops of red. I found some pretty paper that could be used as a backdrop and some black plank paper that was perfect for the stage floor. I used flatback pearls to imitate lights around the stage floor.

I hung a banner across the back of the backdrop. I decorated the banner with the little heart that is in the center of the Large Teapot Die.

The Shabby Flourishes Die was the perfect flourish to accompany the red roses.

I love the way that the easel card folds down to make it easier for mailing.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit. See you all again soon!
