New Color It Create It Show It Off Challenge for September

Hello crafty friends! It's time for a new challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off

Here is the card I made for DT inspiration.
I used My Bestie IMG127 which can be found in Sherry Ann Baldy's Etsy shop.

I am loving the simplicity of this card. The image is so cute it makes a great card when paired with the right paper.

I colored the image with Copic markers and used a white Gel Pen to put in a few highlights.

I hope you will enter your fabulous creations in the Color It Create It Show It Off challenge. You can use an image from ANY designer.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a craftastic day!

Thinking of You Card Made With The Cutting Cafe Shop Stamps

Good morning! I hope you are all enjoying a nice relaxing Sunday.
It's a great day for crafting here in Alaska. It's rainy and cool.

I whipped up this thinking of you card in a matter of minutes, thanks to a couple adorable stamp sets from The Cutting Cafe Shop.

There are so many possibilities using these two stamp sets!
I love being able to paper piece the outfits for the little girls.

If you haven't checked out The Cutting Cafe Shop, you should! They have custom clear stamps, blocks for stamps, adorable papers, washi tape, cute confetti and more.

Thank you all for stopping by today! Have a craftastic day!

Back To School With The Cutting Cafe

What!?!? It can't be time for the kids to go back to school! The summer just started!

Somehow, August has snuck up on us. We now have a Junior, a freshman, a 4th grader and a Kindergartner. The 3 other kids started school on the 15th and my baby starts school on 22nd. This will be the first time in 16 years that I do not have a baby at home. Excuse me while I cry!

Ok, back to reality. The Cutting Cafe DT is making back to school type projects. We were given a few files to choose from...the PENCIL or APPLE TREAT CUP or the PENCIL or APPLE shaped card. I chose to use the Pencil Shaped Card for my project.

Instead of using the pencil as a card, I used it to decorate my card. As soon as Echo (my soon to be kindergartner) Saw the pencil she said "Oh, this is SOOO CUTE! You should make this for me to go to school." So, that's exactly what I did. I made a card to put in her lunch box for the first day of Kindergarten. Did I mention that was Monday?!? This Monday!!!

After cutting the pencil out with my Cricut Explore, I scored 2 lines down the center of it and then inked the edges and score lines with wild honey Tim Holtz Distress Ink. The sentiment I used is also a Cutting Cafe file that comes with the Back To School Shaped Card

The little bear is a file from Little Scraps of Heaven.

Monday is the big day. The day my baby goes to school. I have been a stay at home Mom for 7 years. What does a stay at home Mom do when there are no children staying at home? I figure I'm going to embrace it. That's what I'm going to do. After we drop Echo off at school, this stay at home Mama is heading to the Spa for a massage and pedi!

Thank you all for stopping by today! Be sure to stop by The Cutting Cafe on the 21st to see the rest of the Design Team's project. You won't be disappointed! If you leave a comment there on the inspirational post you will be entered in a chance to win 3 Cutting Cafe files of your choice.

Have a great day!
Hugs, Tina

Thinking Of You

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a card made with one of Ady Almanza's adorable images.

It seems like it's been forever since I have worked with one of her images. Ady is one of my favorite artist!

The fish head is from the Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge...Fish Head #M2EF92.

I love the simple look of this card. I'm thinking I need to make a few more like it.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I will see you all again soon. Have a craftastic day!

Getting Ready For Christmoose With The Cutting Cafe

Hello there! Are you thinking about Christmas yet?
You won't want to miss this week's Cutting Cafe if you are. We have a bunch of Christmas projects to inspire you.

I decided to make a Christmas card for my project. I used the gift shaped card from the Shaped Christmas Card Set

The Shaped Christmas Card Set comes with 4 different Christmas shaped cards and envelopes.

Regina, the owner of The Cutting Cafe, has tons of cute card files from you to choose from. These files make making your own Christmas cards simple and fun.

The cute little moose is a file from Little Scraps of Heaven.

I hope you will stop by The Cutting Cafe tomorrow to check out the rest of the design team's Christmas projects. If you leave a comment on the inspirational post, you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice.

Thanks for stopping by tonight! Have a great night!

Steampunk Fairy Layout

Hello! Hello! Hello!
How are you all today? I am in crazy mode here in Alaska. School is starting in 2 weeks. So we are busy with doctor appointments and school shopping. Sports have already started and it is berry picking season. Oh and I have my 10 year old niece here visiting for 10 days.

I did take some time for myself to do a bit of crafting =)
I made a 12x12 layout for my husbands scrapbook.

I used the Steampunk Fairy from the My Bestie Shop. I love this image!
I colored her up with Copic markers.

I have been working on this scrapbook for nearly a year. (lowering head in shame)
