BINGO with The Cutting Cafe

Hello! How is everyone enjoying their summer? I have been working my tushy off! I've got the veggie garden in, spring cleaned my girls' bedroom and my bedroom, we've been hiking a "hill" once a week (I call it a mountain, but my husband says it's a hill. It's 900 ft in elevation. On the trail there is 480 steps. No, that's NOT a typo! I almost died the first time we did it this summer, but it gets a little easier each time we do it.), we clean the cat kennels at Petco every Saturday for the animal shelter and we are fostering kittens. (Getting new foster babies on Thursday)  Not to mention trying to keep up on the daily chores AND make time for craft therapy =)

I'm so thankful for my DT positions so that I have to make time to sit down and craft! Otherwise I might get to wrapped up in all the work that needs done.

This week at The Cutting Cafe, we are working with the Printable Bingo Card Sets

There are so many fun things you can do with the different bingo cards. I went with a card, well because I love making cards.

The butterfly was hand made by my Great Aunt. She is 86 years old. A couple of months ago she got into tatting. I had no idea what tatting is when she started. It's a very pretty form of needle work, just in case you didn't know either.

I usually layer the inside of my cards with card stock to make the card strong enough to hold all the embellishments.

I think the Bingo Card Set Printable Stamps make adorable cards. You can also print them out to play a bingo game.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Check back at The Cutting Cafe on June 21st. If you leave a comment on the DT inspirational post, you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice.

See you again soon!
Hugs,

It's Road Trip Time with The Cutting Cafe

Hello! A road trip sounds fun, don't you think? I'd like to drive down to the lower 48. Drive through Washington, Oregon and into California to hit a warm beach. Maybe take the kids to Disney Land.

The only problem is is that it is fishing season and there is no way that my man is going to be missing that. Plus my two oldest kids are going to be going to Dillingham, Alaska in a few days to help a family friend during the fishing season. He owns his own boat and does commercial fishing.

On to today's project. The Cutting Cafe Design Team is working with the It's Road Trip Time file. This file is soooooo cute! It comes with different printable sets that you could use on a card or scrapbook page.

I think this may be the cutest Interstate sign I have ever seen! The paper I used is from My Minds Eye. It's called Abbey Road. I have had this paper in my stash for years. I am happy to be putting it to use.

I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the card, numbers and word.

Check back with The Cutting Cafe tomorrow, June 6th, to see what the rest of the DT has come up with using the It's Road Trip Time file. If you leave a comment on the DT inspirational post you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice.

Thanks for popping in! Have a craftastic day!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

When you read the title, did you sing it in the tune of Madonna's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun? I do every time I see it. I love that song.

Anyhoo...I have a rocking card to share today using an image from Angel's Hearts N Memories.

The image (Rock Star Molly) kinda reminds me of Madonna. Which is why I made her blond. I used Copic Markers to color her.

I used some GORGEOUS papers from Prima. The pack is called Rose Quarts. I got the ephemera that goes with the paper pack. There's some awesome stuff in there!

The pink butterfly is from Renea's Bouquets. She has LOTS of gorgeous butterflies, dragonflies and more. You should totally check out her store.

Thank you so much for stopping by. This girl needs to get to bed! Have a good night/day wherever you are =)
