Silhouette Cards with The Cutting Cafe

Hello crafty friends! I am here with inspiration from The Cutting Cafe. Our assignment this week was to use the Fun with Silhouettes file and leave the silhouette black. I'm not going to lie. This one was hard for me. I had NO idea's. How can you make a card (or project) cute with a black Silhouette? So, I went to the best place I know...The Cutting Cafe Design Team. I started looking at the pictures of their projects and was instantly inspired. We really have a great team of talented crafters!

I went through my scraps of paper and found this cute snow man paper. Perfect for a Silhouette of a snowflake, I thought. I had this adorable card made in about 20 minutes. WHAAATTT??!! Yes, 20 minutes! I was so excited with how fast this card went together I decided to make a couple more.

Another 30 minutes later, I had 3 cards done. I was hooked! I wanted to keep making them. So, I busted out 2 more.

I seriously had these 5 cards done in less time than it usually takes me to make one card. And they're super cute! I'd say these are perfect cards to be making and selling at craft bazaars. The are unique, cute, take hardly no time at all AND they are a great way to use up scraps.

Here's a couple more shots of each card...

Each silhouette is cut out using my Cricut Explore.

I'm super happy with how all of these turned out. Who know cards with black silhouettes could be so cute?!?! I will be making more for bazaars!

Thank you so much for stopping by tonight. See you all again soon! Don't forget to check out what the rest of the design team came up with tomorrow (July 21,  2017) on The Cutting Cafe blog. If you leave a comment on the inspirational post, you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice.

Flower Pop Up and New AHNM image

Hi everyone! It's inspiration time at The Cutting Cafe! This week we are working with the Flower Pop up file. You have to stop by later today to take a look at the DT inspirational post and all the different things that the DT did with this file. It's awesome how many different things we can come up with using the same file. If you leave a comment on that post, you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice! You can't beat that!

Ok, on to the card I made...

Eeekkk! So many cute tiny blue flowers! I cut about a million of this little things, inked them with faded jeans distress ink and then glued them together.

They were the perfect accent for this beautiful new image from Angels Hearts and Memories.

This lady looks like a Goddess. In fact, her name is Goddess Ivy. I think the tiny blue flowers surrounding her makes her even more beautiful.

When I look at a card, I am often drawn to the little details...like these tiny flowers. They are small, but they really complete this card perfectly.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a craftastic day!
