Scrappy Boy Stamps Cute Western Girls Shaker Card

 Good morning! Coming to you this morning with a shaker card using the newly released Cute Girls Western Girls from Scrappy Boy Stamps. 

Seriously, how cute is this little cowgirl?! I had a hard time choosing which cowgirl to use...they are all just too cute! Take a look at the entire set below...

The shaker mix I used is from Whimsy Stamps. I bought this a long time ago. When I decided to make a shaker card, I remembered I had this and was so excited. I added some pink sequins and teal microbeads to make it match the 6x6 Paper Pad.

Hi there! It's been a hot minute since I've done a blog post. I am happy to be back at it. 

Today's card is made with an adorable image from Twistoon...Hamburger.  

I loved coloring this guy! It took some time and about a gazillion markers, but it was fun! 

To find a sentiment I went to Google. I was surprised at how many cute sentiments popped up. Nice Buns won, but my girls and I had a good laugh over many of them.

Scrappy Boy Enjoy the Waves

 Hi! Back with another Scrappy Boy Card!! For this card, I used the Scrappy Boy Summer with My Gnomies Set.

When I first finished this card, I was not liking it. The clouds weren't right, the water is streaky, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Sometimes it helps if you walk away and come back to it also. Which I did.

Scrappy Boy My Heart Wants to Sing

Hello friends!! I am guest designing for Scrappy Boy Stamps. Scrappy Boy Stamps is a new company owned by Sean Covert. Sean not only has cute stamps, but he is also putting out stamp sets that no other company has ever done! Just today his crew is sharing a sneak peek of a stamp set inspired by Gilmore Girls. I might have squealed out loud when I saw this set. I was home alone though...there's no proof. 

The stamp set I am showcasing here today is inspired by The Sound of Music. The first stamp set of its kind! 

I have a confession to make...I have never seen The Sound of Music. I LOATH musicals!! (I can hear your gasps just typing that) 

When I saw this cutie, I knew what I wanted to do with her right away, despite my lack of The Sound of Music knowledge. 

The scene came together easily. I love how peaceful she seems sitting there. I can almost hear the music and the running water. I could sit there with her and color all day.

 Good morning crafty friends!! Tomorrow is March. March has me thinking of Spring and St. Patrick's Day. Oh, how I am longing for Spring and warmer weather. Don't get me wrong, I love winter and all it has to offer, but my Fibromyalgia has been acting up something fierce. Which has me ready for warmer temps.

Paper Nest Dolls Little Cuties

 Hi there! Who do these Little Cuties remind you of?

They were inspired by Alfalfa and Darla! The Little Rascals. Aren't they the cutest ever!? I don't think I've ever seen Little Rascal stamps so I was super excited to see that Paper Nest Dolls released these. 

The paper I used was in my scraps. I love the color combination.

The texture in Marci's coat is created by using colorless blending solution. I put it on a towel and then put the towel on her jacket. You can create all sorts of different textures by using colorless blender.

Good morning! I'm back with my second La-La Land Crafts new release card! It's showcasing Luka on Snowboard. 

He is the cutest snowboarder ever!! You know I love my Luka!

 I used the Double Stitched Squares Die to make a snowy mountain scene for Luka. 

I love how the bright colors pop against the white. This is the first time I have used this green combo. I am in love!

La-La Land Crafts NEW RELEASE Winter Wishes Marci Card

 Hi there! You may have seen that La-La Land Crafts is having a New Release. We finally get to see what's in the Winter Box! Well, you get to see it in the shop. Unfortunately, my DT package has been lost in the mail. So my projects only showcase the new stamps. 

It's ok though! The new stamps go well with old dies too! 

The first card that I made showcases Winter Wishes Marci. She is gorgeous! As are all of the new rubber stamps that were released. 

I got a tiny bit carried away filling my shaker with microbeads. To read the sentiment you have to swirl the beads around. 

The sentiment reads "sending warm hugs and lots of love." 

The background paper is from the New Home for Christmas Paper Pack. I love the colors in this paper pack! It's full of nontraditional Christmas colors. 

Fireplace Die is what I used for the bricks. I cut the fireplace apart and glued each brick to the background paper.

Marker Plans- Sweet Sentiment

 Hello friends! Today I am sharing a couple of cards made from a NEW Sweet Sentiment stamp set. The stamp set is called Marker Plans. 

When Jammie Clark, the owner of Sweet Sentiment, asked me to create with her new stamp set, I was super excited. The images look just like Jammie. I think she's super cute. I actually got to me Jammie at the Flordia Paper Nest Dolls retreat in September. She is a lot of fun.

For the first card that I made, I used the single marker stamp to create a marker paper. The patterned background paper looked like marker flicks to me. So the marker paper coordinated perfectly. 

This card really took me a long time. To be honest, as I was putting it together, I was not liking it at all. Once I finished it, I walked away. When I came back to it the next day, it wasn't as bad as I had thought. It's still not my favorite, but I do like it. 

The second card I made was a lot easier for me. I love the colors. 

I know a lot of you will like it too. Simply because it's coffee themed =)

The images were colored with Copic markers and all of the dies that I used are from La-La Land Crafts. 

Sweet Sentiment carries a variety of crafting supplies. Cardstock for coloring with markers, colored pencils, and/or watercolors. They have some really cool stencils too. Recently, they added Copic markers and refills to the list of things they sell.

La-La Land Crafts This Is How We Roll Card - New Release

Good morning friends! It's Friday, which means the La-La Land Crafts Team Friday has some awesome inspiration for you. This week we are using the new release. There were so many goodies released, we couldn't stop at just one week of inspiration. 

I chose to work with the Soy Happy for you Clear Stamp Set. These little hamsters are the cutest! I mean look at him hiding behind that bowl of rolls. 

The sentiments that are in the Soy Happy for you Clear Stamp Set are adorable also. 

The card base is 6 1/4 inches x 3 1/2 inches. When I am layering a card I typically make each layer about 1/8th - 1/4 of an inch smaller than the last. 

To be honest, I don't measure it. I just eyeball it. I know some people like to have things measured, but I like to live on the wild side. 

I love how the black die cuts pop against the gold paper. 

The image, the Asian Landscape Border Die, the Flying Cranes Die, and the Double Stitched Hills Border Die are all popped up off of the paper with foam tape. I like my cards to have layers and dimension.

La-La Land Crafts Taco Tuesday Card NEW RELEASE

EEEKKKK!!! I have been waiting for so long to share this card with you. This is my all-time favorite set of La-La Land Crafts Critters. 

I haven't always been in love with Chihuahuas, but they have grown on me. Really it's just been the last few months that they've caught my eye. 

My son adopted a sweet 7-year-old Chihuahua recently. Her name is Butters. She is just the cutest thing.

I am also totally in love with these taco and chips dies. They are perfect for the Ay Chihuahua Clear Stamp Set.
