Scrappy Boy Follow Every Rainbow

Good morning! I'm back with another adorable Scrappy Boy Card. I think this one may be my favorite one yet.

The rainbow is a die from Whimsy. When you color die cuts, it really brings them to life. I was able to make the rainbow sparkle by adding dots in white gel pen and Copic markers.

Scrappy Boy Music Card

Hiya!! I am back with another Scrappy Boy Stamps creation!

This time I used the I Can't Stop Singing set and Climb Every Mountain set.

How fracking cute are these kids?!?!

I colored these cuties with Copic markers. My favorite coloring medium.

The paper I used is digital paper from GalleryTwelve on Etsy. I love using digital paper and Etsy has a ton of it. You can find papers for any occasion.

I kept the card simple so the singers would remain the center of attention.

Best of Luck From Paper Nest Dolls Lucky Emma

Good morning crafty friends!! Tomorrow is March. March has me thinking of Spring and St. Patrick's Day. Oh, how I am longing for Spring and warmer weather. Don't get me wrong, I love winter and all it has to offer, but my Fibromyalgia has been acting up something fierce. Which has me ready for warmer temps.

Anyway, take a look at this adorable card! The image is Lucky Emma from Paper Nest Dolls.

All the dies used are from La-La Land Crafts. The sentiment is also. It's from the Best of Cluck Clear Stamp Set. I simply inked the stamp and then took a baby wipe and cleaned the ink off of the C. Tada! I had the perfect St. Patty's Day sentiment.

La-La Land Crafts October 2020 Club Kit Reveal

My nine year old told me that Marci needed yellow boots. So, I obliged. Of course, I had to give her a matching sweater and hat.

I've been layering the insides of my cards. I like the extra stability it gives to them and the way it looks.

I decorated the inside too. When I show my husband the cards I make, he always opens the cards to see if there is anything on the inside. He once said "one time when I open a card there will be something on the inside. Now he will have something to look at! Lol.

La-La Land Crafts COFFEE Card

Good morning friends! TGIF! Am I right? It's been a busy week here in the Goodwin household. School started this week. Instead of sending them to public school this year, we have decided to homeschool. We wanted to make sure that the girls are getting a consistent education and not being interrupted by Carona. Which I feel would happen with attending public school.

So far, things are going great and we are all loving it. My 8th grader does a lot of it on her own, but my 4th grader is very much hands-on. We are usually done for the day at 1:00 P.M. The girls love that!

In Social Studies and Science, I am learning right along with her which I love.

Ok, enough about that and on to the real reason you popped in! You saw the word Coffee. Am I right?

For my La-La Land Crafts DT assignment this week, I went with a coffee themed card. I am not a coffee drinker, but I do love these little hamsters in the Coffee is Life Clear Stamp Set!

The theme we were given was stencils. Such an easy theme with the number of stencils that La-La Land Crafts has! I used two stencils to create patterned paper for my card. The polka dots from the So Many Dots Layering Stencils and the other one is from the Daisies on my Mind Layering Stencil.

La-La Land Crafts July 2020 Club Kit Reveal

I had to make a card full of monkeys. I stamped 5 of them and colored them with Copic Markers. I think I like the brown monkeys better than I do the black ones.

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with this card. Actually, even though I really love this kit I was thinking it was going to be hard for me to put cute cards together. I was pleasantly surprised! These cards were super easy. They came together in no time at all.

Looking back at some of my work, you can really tell when I am not feeling inspired or having a hard time coming up with an idea. Are any of you like that? Can you see it in your work?

Now, on to the second card that I made! It's a bit different...

Green bees?!?! Yes! Green bees are actually a thing. They are called Sweat Bees. Fun fact...Sweat Bees are attracted to the smell of human sweat.

Isn't that bee just gorgeous!?! I love the color. And the way it shimmers.

How do I know about the Sweat Bee, you may ask. I didn't know about them before this month. When I saw the bees, I figured the design team would go with the typical yellow and black (boy was I surprised to see that many of the dt did something different! You will have to take a look at the blog!)

Anyway, I went to Pinterest in search of different colored bees. There I learned about the Sweat Bee.

Vintage Paper Nest Doll Card

Happy Hump Day friends! I am so glad it's Wednesday! I have had a busy week so far, but this morning, I have NO appointments. Nowhere I need to be. Which means I can get my craft on!

I don't know about you, but it seems like the more I desire to craft the more my to-do list grows.

I was able to break away some yesterday. Just long enough to get this adorable Paper Nest Doll card done.

I have really been enjoying making these videos. Now if I could only stay in the center of the screen that would be great! It drives me nuts when I play it back and I am halfway off the screen. Please know that I am working on that!

The stamp I used is Lulu with Peony. I used the rubber stamp, but a digital stamp is also available HERE.
