Hi friends! There are some pretty exciting things happening for me and Toadally Love to Crafts. I am now the manager of the Paper Nest Dolls Stamp Company! I cannot tell you how excited I am about this.
I have been designing for Christine for 5 years this year. We have become great friends during this time. I love the freedom she gives her designers. It makes designing cards so much easier when you are not limited. She is also very supportive and encouraging.
If you didn't see the live you can watch it on replay HERE.
The cupcake shaker portion of the card is a file from The Cutting Cafe. They have the cutest cutting files! I was able to cut the file with my Cricut Maker.
If you are looking for some online fun, Paper Nest Dolls has a couple of virtual retreats coming up. On that is March 27th and 28th that is spring themed and another that is June 5th and 6th that is Disney themed. You can find more details for the March Spring Retreat HERE and the June Disney Retreat HERE. Both events will be SUPER FUN!
Hello! It's already Friday again! The week just flew by.
This week our theme at La-La Land Crafts is Thank You. There are so many directions you could go with this. I chose to make a thank you card for a doctor. We all know they have been working themselves to the bone during this pandemic.
We cannot ignore the fact that Luka makes THE CUTEST doctor either. I love any and all things Luka, so I am a little biased.
I have been looking at Luka's shoes and his slacks. His shoes are colored with C's and his slacks are colored with W's. The C's have what looks like a blue tone to me. I am really not liking that on his shoes. Hahaha! I should have stuck with the W's. They are my favorite.
Marci's dress is a little short for my liking, so I decided to put her in leggings instead of stockings. I feel much better about the outfit now.

Hi everyone! We are 12 days into January. We are gaining more daylight every day here in Alaska. I am always so thankful for that! Before long, we will be having more daylight hours than dark hours.
For the December tutorial that I did for Club, I made a little box. It was the perfect size for the business cards that I bought my daughter for Christmas. I had intended to use Marci on the box, but she was much too big. The adorable kitten was just the perfect size.
If you are a Club Kit member, don't forget to look at the tutorials that the design team has done for you. There are some really great projects!
If you are not a Club Kit member, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??! I mean look at everything that comes with it!

The second project is a 5 1/2 inch x 5 1/2 inch card. This card size is my favorite!
I used the Wishing You Happiness Background Stamp for the design on the basket. I love how it turned out! I'm thinking I need a basket like this for myself.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit. Be sure to check out what my teamie made on the La-La Land Crafts Blog.

Happy Friday!! I am so happy to be able to excape reality for a little time in my safe place...my craft room. The things going on in our country are unsettling. I won't get into that though.
Let's talk about LOVE!! Our first assignment as a La-La Land Crafts Design Team is to create a Hearts/Love themed card. Perfect since Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
Now, I know that not all of us are a fan of Valentine's Day. However, I am sure you can think of someone in your life who needs a little extra love. A kind word or just a card to say, I am thinking of you. Do that with hearts!!
It took me FOREVER to figure out what papers to use for this image. I had some sort of idea of the layout and that I wanted black to be my layering color. Then I remembered the NEW Home for Christmas Paper Pack. I love the Wood papers!! The light grey wood paper worked perfectly for what I had in mind.
I was feeling quite lazy when I was making this card. It was late and I just really didn't want to do it. I had debated cutting the hearts and words out of colored paper to make it easier on myself. In the end I decided I needed to color the die cuts. I am so glad I did. I love the depth that they have. I know that I wouldn't enjoy them as much if they were cut out of colored cardstock.
Thanks so mjuch for stopping in to visit. If you want more LOVE card inspiration, hop on over to the La-La Land Crafts Blog to see what my teamies have made.
Happy New Year friends! I don't know about you, but I am super excited to see what 2021 brings.
2020 wasn't a bad year for us Goodwin's. Actually, I found it to be a year of many blessings. I learned that I need to slow down a bit and start doing things that fill my cup. That way I can have the energy to do what I want/need to for others. I was able to spend more time with my family. My son, who was in a very bad relationship, moved back home. We homeschooled the two youngest. We took a vacation to Flordia. I taught at a craft retreat. I was able to spend time with a sweet friend before she passed away. The list goes on and on.
I know this year has lots of blessings in store as well. The blessings are always there...sometimes we just have to look a little harder.
For the first La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday of the year, our theme is Birthdays. Can we say SIMPLE!! Which is exactly what I needed. My mojo has been a little off.
I used a couple cuties from the Pardon My Frenchie Clear Stamp Set. Don't they make the cutest pair?!!
I used the Ice Cream Cone from the March 2020 Club Kit as a little birthday hat. The little cotton ball finished it off perfectly.
You see the balloon die?! That will be coming out SOON!! So stay tuned!
