Rubbernecker Owl Thinking of You Card

Oh my gravy! Have you seen the adorable new owl stamps at Rubbernecker Stamps?! I know I am one of many owl lovers out there. If you are one of them, GO TAKE A LOOK!

I created with one of the adorable owls today. This one is Epstein. He is so cute! I think it's the big eyes that get me. My girls have big eyes. They are just so expressive.

I colored Epstein with Copic markers and then fussy cut him. I cut two circles with the Nested Circle Die Cut Set adhered them together, and stamped the Thinking of You of you sentiment with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

Of course, I didn't have any patterned paper to go with my color choice, but with the  Distress Harlequin Background Stamp (from Rubbernecker Stamps) and a little Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink, that wasn't a problem.

I made the little flower with the Mixable Flower Stack Die from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Have you joined the new Rubbernecker Facebook Group? There you will find lots of fun and inspiration. Even some Facebook only discounts.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Wishes from Rubbernecker Stamps

Need a birthday card? I have a quick one that could be for a boy or a girl.

I created this card using the Birthday Wishes Circle from Rubbernecker Stamps

I cut the stamp out with a circle die that I got from Rubbernecker Stamps. I am so excited that Rubbernecker Stamps is getting in more shaped dies! I have a bunch on my wish list.

Want to know a little secret? I have heard from a little birdie that they have more dies coming =) I have really gotten into dies. I love the crisp edges. My favorite are the stitched dies.

I used foam squares to give a little depth to the card between layers.

You will be able to read more about my card here on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog.

Rubbernecker Faith Card

Faith, it does not make things easy. It makes them possible. Luke 1:37

I love this! This is a scripture that I need to have hung in the house where I can see it every day. We go through so many trials in life. Sometimes I tend to have a pity party. Seeing this scripture would be a helpful reminder that we have to do our part to reach our blessings. Weather that be prayer, reading our scriptures, working, doing service or etc.

I made a card using Luke 1:37. It's a stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps

Rubbernecker Stamps have a lot of Scripture Sentiments. They are so inspirational and make awesome cards that you can use for many occasions.

Reneabouquets Shabby Card Set

Hi there! Popping in to start your day with some sabbalicious cards.  As most of you know, Shabby Chic is one of my favorite styles. It's so delicate and feminine.

This first card is for all my coffee loving friends.

I started with a 5x7 inch white card base. I matted Blue Fern Happy Accident Collection Papers and added Trim Promise Ring Embroidered LaceBeautiful Board Large Brick Elements and a big 'ol coffee cup.

The coffee cup was cut with my Cricut Maker. The file from The Cutting Cafe. I LOVE this file and have used it several times.

I tucked cheese cloth under the coffee cup to look like steam and then added a gorgeous handmade Shabby Pink Roses Glass Wing Butterfly.

I finished the card off with seam binding an little flower from the Mini Dusty Pink Mulberry Paper Roses Leaves Set, a sentiment from Rubbernecker Stamps (Out Of Jail),  and a tiny Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits Shabby Heart

For the second card, I used the Blue Fern Happy Accident Collection Papers again. I love these papers! The colors and designs are just beautiful.

I used distress inks to color the Beautiful Board Medium Everyday Elegance Frame. The distress inks work really good for coloring the beautiful board pieces.

After coloring the frame, I laid seam binding down on the card and put the Beautiful Board Medium Everyday Elegance Frame on top of it. I added a sentiment and then tied a big beautiful bow with the seam binding and finished the card with a Shabby Pink Roses Glass Wing Butterfly and a Treasures Pink Champagne Dragonfly

The sentiment is Luke 1:37 from Rubbernecker Stamps. This is one of my favorite scriptures.

Rubbernecker Stamps Thank You Card

Good morning friends! Today's card is a thank you card, made with the Thank You Stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps.

It seems that sending thank you cards is something of the passed. I however, still enjoy sending and receiving them. I tend to be a little old school about things. Sending a thank you card is a little thing that we can do to make a big difference in someones day.

I've paired this sentiment with embellishments from Reneabouquets. The yellow handmade butterfly and painted beautiful board accents the Blue Fern Happy Accident Paper  perfectly.

The Blue Fern Happy Accident Paper  is one of my favorite paper packs of all times! I love the colors and the vintage look that the papers have.

The yellow lace is lace that I had hiding in my stash. Going through my craft stash can be pretty exciting. You'll never know what you can find!

This card displays a simple elegance that is sure to put a smile on anyone's face.

Rubbernecker Loving Thoughts Card

Good morning! I've shared lots of cards with you, but not many Sympathy cards.  I made with this Sympathy card with Rubbernecker Stamps

The two stamps I used are Pussywillows and the Loving Thoughts Stamp

Both the Pussywillows and the Loving Thoughts Stamp could be used for cards other than a Sympathy card. A Sympathy card wasn't what I thought of when I first saw this Pussywillows stamp, but when paired with the Loving Thoughts Stamp it's perfect.

I colored the Pussywillows stamp with Copic markers.

E29, E25, E53, E50, B00 and B000

Rubbernecker Stamps Christmas Tree Card

Good morning! Christmas is almost here! I am working like a crazy women to get some homemade gifts done for my family.

Had to take some time out for a little coloring R&R =)

This gorgeous Christmas Tree and Magic of the Season stamps are from Rubbernecker Stamps

After I colored the Christmas Tree with Copic markers, I added little dots with a white gel pen for snow. The tree reminds me of a tree that is along the highway here in Alaska. The tree is in the middle of what we call Hay Flats. It is a single tree standing alone. Every year, in December, the tree is decorated with lights by someone in the community. The decorator wants/wanted to remain anonymous. If I remember correctly, someone found out who he was and they ended up doing an article about it in the paper. Anyways, every time I see this tree it brings a huge smile to my face. To me, this is what Christmas is about. Loving your neighbor and spreading cheer however you can. This one man brings cheer to thousands of people every year by doing something as simple as putting lights on a tree along the highway.

What if we all tried to do something simple to spread a little bit of cheer every day? We may not affect thousands, but we could change one persons day. Brighten on persons Christmas Season.

The Church I belong to is doing 25 days of Service. Join us in spreading cheer this season. Do something to help someone everyday for the rest of the month. It doesn't have to be something huge. It can be as simple as giving someone a shoulder to lean on or a listening ear. We can all do service of some sort.

One of the service projects that my kids and I are doing along with a few church friends, is volunteering at the Special Santa's Workshop. It's a program here that shops and fills wish lists for local families in need. It's an amazing program. They help thousands of kids every year. Volunteering there is something we look forward to every year.

I'd love to hear how you've brightened someones Christmas. Come back and tell me all about your service! Also, hop on over to the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog to see what the rest of the DT came up with for Sweet Sunday Team Inspiration.

Breast Cancer Card - With Rubbernecker Stamps

Hi there! I am sharing a card made with the Courage Doesn't stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps today.

This sentiment made me think of cancer when I saw it. Fighting a disease, especially cancer, is a fight that takes a lot of courage.

A crafty friend of mine shared a sketch book that she had published. I was so excited for her. When I started looking through Inspired By The Sketch Volume 1, I found lots of cute sketches
Using card sketches is not something that I have done in the passed. I wanted to give at least one of Cristena's sketches a try.

OMG!! I created this card in a matter of minutes. Using a sketch makes crafting so much quicker! I didn't spend an hour placing embellishments and moving them around a hundred times before I was happy. I looked at the sketch and slapped the card together.

I am so excited about how fast this card went together. I will be using lots more sketches from Inspired By The Sketch Volume 1.

Good morning! It is Sweet Sunday Team Inspiration over on the Rubbernecker Blog. I chose to do a Christmas card for inspiration.

I used the adorable Moose with Lights 72-06 Stamp. I absolutely adore this stamp!
I colored it up with Copic markers. It almost looks like the lights are really on.

I have been learning new techniques in the coloring groups that I am in. It's amazing how many talented colorists there are.

The Moose with Lights 72-06 stamps also has a die that you can purchase. Here is the link...

The sentiment is MC Flourish Script 657 - 01. The font is just gorgeous!

Good morning! Did any of you have a hard time getting up and moving after a four day weekend? I sure did. I'm exhausted after cooking, shopping, doing a bazaar and cleaning up.

Anyhow, I'm coming to you with a project from Rubbernecker Stamps

I am in love with this vintage snowman! In the Rubbernecker shop you will find him under the name Snowman with Pot Hat 965.

I stamped the Snowflake Panel 482 with Ranger Embossing Ink and then sprinkled it with dry embossing powder. I also sprinkled dry embossing powder on the Snowman with Pot Hat 965.

Rubbernecker Moose Clear Stamp Set

What do you look for in a stamp set? What makes you buy one stamp over another?
When I first look at stamps, I am drawn in by the cute ones. Before I purchase the stamp I stop myself (I really have to say think about this, Tina. Or I would be buying stamps like crazy). So I stop myself and think about how often I will use the stamps. Can I use them to make multiple cards that are different?

With the stamp set I am using today from Rubbernecker Stamps, I have been able to create very different cards. Take a look...

This snowy cabin scene is the second card that I have made with the Rubbernecker stamp set 3013 KKCS Moose . The first card I made using the 3013 KKCS Moose set is the moose card below. You can read more about that card HERE.

Here is a picture of what comes with the 3013 KKCS Moose set.

I used the trees from the 3013 KKCS Moose set on both of the cards.
When I look at this set I see many different card possibilities. Which save's me some money.
I am looking forward to making many more cards with the 3013 KKCS Moose set.

I have been learning about masking stamps. I tried the technique for the first time with this card. It really gives you more possibilities and freedom with your stamps.

I colored the image using Copic markers and a couple techniques that I have learned from taking Kit and Clowder online coloring classes. I really enjoy doing these classes (when I force myself to make time for coloring.) I learn something new in every class.

Copic markers used

Sky: B99, B29, B16, B14, B12, BG53, B00, V06, V05, V01, YG07, YG11
Snow: V22, B60, BV000
House: E49, E25, E35, E31, E09, C1, C3, C5
Trees: G99, G94, YG, 67, YG03

You can read about today's card and enter Rubbernecker Stamp Challenges HERE. Remember, each day of the week has a new project from different design team members. You are sure to get loads of inspiration!

Thank you so much for popping in for a visit. I will see you again soon.

Daisy From Rubbernecker Stamps

Good morning! It's time for some Rubbernecker Stamps inspiration! I am loving these Sweet Sunday Team Inspiration posts on the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog. Not only are the stamps awesome, the DT is crazy talented!

The card I made for today's Sweet Sunday post is made with a stamp named Daisy. I had to get this stamp. Of course she's adorable, but I couldn't pass up a stamp named Daisy because Daisy  is my sisters name!

Anywhoo...meet Daisy !

She is super cute and full of sass!

I colored Daisy with Copic Markers.

Markers used in order of usage...
Skin: E0000, E04, E11, E00, E000, E0000
Hair: Y19, Y11
Clothes and Shoes: V20, V22, V25

Now on to the hilarious Rubbernecker sentiment stamp. This one is called You're So Fabulous

When I saw You're So Fabulous in the Rubbernecker shop, I could not stop laughing. I had to have it! I think it was a good fit for little miss Sassy Daisy .

If you love the Daisy stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps, I'm sure that you will love the Daisy Die Cut. You can buy Daisy 's Die Cut separately on the Rubbernecker Site

Thank you all for stopping by today. Hope you have a beautiful Sunday!
