La-La Land Crafts Rock Star Luka

Good morning and Happy Friday friends. We are going to start the day out by rocking out with La-La Land Crafts Luka. Luka with Guitar was part of the NEW RELEASE a couple of weeks ago. I am always excited to see a new Luka image. 

This one in particular. Why? Because he is perfect for the distressed jeans!! 

I did a written tutorial on the jeans several months ago. You can find that HERE. 

It was an honor to able to teach this technique at Jennifer Dove's Copic Boot Camp. I even stood on a chair while Jennifer showed the crowd my jeans (they were holy and distressed) just like Vanna White showed off the prizes on Wheel of Fortune. That was WAY out of my comfort zone! But it was a blast. Sometimes to have a little fun we have to break out of that comfort zone a bit. 

Back to Luka and his jeans! Many of you have asked for a video tutorial. I finally have that done for you!!  If you haven't already, please subscribe to my channel.

La-La Land Crafts Paris Card

Good morning! I can't believe it's already Friday again. We had an extra-long weekend here. The girls had Monday and Tuesday off from school for parent-teacher conferences. Then on Wednesday, we had a snow day. From Tuesday to Wednesday morning, we got about a foot of snow. The roads were a mess. 

The extra time with the girls was nice. I also enjoyed some time in the craft room. I was able to get this adorable Paris themed card done for La-La Land Crafts. 

The image is Marci in Paris. I am so pleased with how her outfit turned out. I took a picture of her before I cut the image down.

I am thinking I need an image like that. Hahaha

The cherry blossoms make me think of Paris. Not that I've ever been there.

Now, on to the second card that I made! It's a bit different...

Green bees?!?! Yes! Green bees are actually a thing. They are called Sweat Bees. Fun fact...Sweat Bees are attracted to the smell of human sweat. 

Isn't that bee just gorgeous!?! I love the color. And the way it shimmers. 

How do I know about the Sweat Bee, you may ask. I didn't know about them before this month. When I saw the bees, I figured the design team would go with the typical yellow and black (boy was I surprised to see that many of the dt did something different! You will have to take a look at the blog!) 

Anyway, I went to Pinterest in search of different colored bees. There I learned about the Sweat Bee.

La-La Land Crafts New Release Bride Mona

Good morning! Here we are with my second La Land Crafts NEW RELEASE project. 

This fun fold card is called the Joy Fold card. I wanted to make something a little different for Bride Mona. I headed on over to Pinterest to get some ideas. Here's a tutorial for the Joy Fold card. It's very simple to make. 

Bride Mona is colored with Copic markers. You will find the color combinations listed below. 

I used both of the NEW STENCILS on this project. I can see myself using these stencils A LOT!

La-La Land Crafts New Release - In My Heart

 Good morning! Have you seen the NEW RELEASE from La-La Land Crafts?! EEEKKK so much cuteness going on!!

Today, Friday and Sunday I will be posting inspiration projects made with the NEW RELEASE. Today's project is a card showcasing the In My Heart Clear Stamp Set.

This giraffe is just so cute! I added the hair going down his neck after looking at giraffes on Google. 

I colored the image with Copic markers. You will find the color combinations below. 

To make the shaped card, I folded a piece of cardstock in half placed the Large Stitched Tags Die on top of the cardstock leaving the fold just inside the die so it wouldn't cut. I hope that makes sense!

La-La Land Crafts You Color My World

Good morning friends! TGIF am I right!?! This week has been so busy. I am ready for the weekend and some downtime. 

This week's theme on the La-La Land Crafts blog is LOVE. You can't make it any easier than that! 

I decided to use the Never Change Stamp Set. It really wasn't a hard decision to make since I found this little guy already colored in my stash. I had colored him when the stamp set was first released but then didn't use him.  Perfect for a week where I don't have a lot of extra time. 

I also found scraps of paper from the Endless Summer Paper Pack. They matched my gecko perfectly! I love it when a card comes together so easily! I seriously had this card done in minutes.

Vintage Paper Nest Doll Card

Happy Hump Day friends! I am so glad it's Wednesday! I have had a busy week so far, but this morning, I have NO appointments. Nowhere I need to be. Which means I can get my craft on! 

I don't know about you, but it seems like the more I desire to craft the more my to-do list grows. 

I was able to break away some yesterday. Just long enough to get this adorable Paper Nest Doll card done.

I have really been enjoying making these videos. Now if I could only stay in the center of the screen that would be great! It drives me nuts when I play it back and I am halfway off the screen. Please know that I am working on that! 

The stamp I used is Lulu with Peony. I used the rubber stamp, but a digital stamp is also available HERE.

I colored Lulu with Copic markers. Below you will find the color combinations listed. 

The die cuts were made using La-La Land Crafts dies. All other embellishments are from Reneabouquets. 

I used to design for Renea. Not only is she an amazing artist, but she is also an amazing person. So genuine and sweet.

Good morning!! Coming to you this morning with some Valentine's inspiration using the La-La Land Crafts January 2020 Club Kit. 

Those of you who visit my blog often know that I am a fan of non-traditional holiday colors. Valentine's Day is no different! 

Loving how this card turned out in purple and turquoise. These are two of my favorite colors.
