La-La Land Crafts New Release - From the Herd

Ready for more cuteness from La-La Land Crafts?!?! This set is one of my favorites from this release. It's one that was designed by Mindy =)

It is From the Herd. Aren't these the cutest critters EVER?!?! I mean, look at that cow! I instantly feel in love with her/him. 

La-La Land Crafts Cowboy Boots Marci was the perfect image to use with the From the Herd set.  I used the new Just For You background stamp to make the pattern on the lower part of Cowboy Boots Marci's dress.

La-La Land Crafts New Release - Wood Planks and Spring Woodland Critters

Guess what?!?! There's a new release today at La-La Land Crafts!! 

I am so excited about this release. La-La Land Crafts has really out done themselves with these new stamps. AND for the first time EVER, a new artist is designing stamps for La-La Land Crafts. Her name is Mindy Beverly. Mindy has been on the Design Team for awhile now. It is so exciting to see her designing stamps for them now! 

Ok, on to the new release! We have 4 new background stamps! The background stamps are so AWESOME!! And the come with more than just the background. 

There is also 3 new Critter sets! I am in love with these critters! They are so stinking cute!!

There is long animals, farm animals, and forest animals.

  

I'm so excited, I don't know which card to show you first!

I am so inspired by these stamps that each card that I made came together very easy. The new stamps work great with the stamps and dies that La-La Land Crafts already carry. It was easy to include them into my projects.

My second project with the Spring Woodland Critters makes me think of my Dad. 

He loved the mountains and the wildlife. 

While making these cards, I started thinking outside the box with the dies. I used the top of the pineapple die as greenery in the mountain scenery. Ha! That rhymed! I know, I'm a nerd =)

La-La Land Craft Tutorial Thursday - Reverse Stamping

Hi everyone! Tina here with this weeks La-La Land Crafts Thursday Tutorial. 

Ok, we all love using our La-La Land Craft stamps. They are such good quality, stamp perfectly and they are super cute! 

What if you could make a reverse image with your rubber stamp? Did that grab your attention? 

All you need is your La-la-Land Crafts stamp, (I am using Tropical Marci from the April Club Kit), Stamp pad of your choice, a silicone mat, 3"x4" piece of cardstock of your choice and stamping block. 

Lay out the silicone mat. Ink your stamp. And get your cardstock ready. 

Once you have your stamp inked. Stamp it onto the silicone mat. 

Make sure you do not move the stamp around at all. Put it on the mat and pick it straight up. 

You will be able to see the image slightly on the mat. 

Lay the cardstock on top of the silicone mat, over the stamped image. Gently run your hands over the stamped image.

Viola! You have a reversed stamp! 

Now Tropical Marci can be sitting on the beach having drinks with a friend! 

To paper piece the swimsuit of the reversed image you would repeat the steps above and replace the white cardstock with a patterned cardstock. Then fussy cut the swimsuit =)
