Hello crafty friends!
I am popping in to share a special card I made.of a horse and her foal. This image is so sweet.
I found the image on Pinterest. It was a free coloring page. I colored the image with Copic markers and then surrounded it with beautiful embellishments from Reneabouquets.
The flowers, handmade butterflies and beautiful Beautiful board pieces from Reneabouquets add the special touches to make this card feminine and one of a kind.
Speaking of Beautiful board. have you seen the new Beautiful board items that Renea has added? If not you should totally go and check it out! So many new Beautiful board pieces to choose from. I have been drooling over the Beautiful Words on Wood Grain Set since I saw them!
The next shopping trip to Reneabouquets will definitely include the Beautiful Words on Wood Grain Set!
Anyways, back to my card =) I love seam binding! It makes the most beautiful bows. RibbonsByZipperStop is a Etsy shop that I have recently found that sells seam binding in large amounts. I like to buy a bunch at once. That way, I always have what I need and I spend less on shipping.
If you can't find the exact color of seam binding that you need, you can purchase white seam binding and die it. There are several mediums you can use to die. Copic ink, Ink Spray dies, coffee, tea, etc. I have yet to try dying my own, but I think it would be lots of fun.
There are so many items at Reneabouquets that I am in love with, but these Handmade Butterflies, Beautiful Board pieces and Mulberry Flowers are my absolute favorite. These items give projects the special touches that turns them from beautiful to elegant.
Here are the items from Reneabouquets that I used for this project...
Beautiful Board Small Victorian Scroll Border
Beautiful Board Small Tea Rose Frame
Daisy Chain Lace
Tiny Treasures Sweetheart Blue Glitter Glass Butterflies
Mini Dusty Blue Ivory Mulberry Paper Roses Set
