Hello all! Hope you are having a lovely Sunday.
This week we are working on planners at The Cutting Cafe.
I decided to use the 2018 calendar and make a special project for my 15 year old daughter.
So, I need to explain some things... 1) Linaya (my 15 year old) LOVES chickens 2) We do not let our children date until they are 16. I guess we are pretty old school, but I just think that they need to have fun and concentrate on being a kid. Dating, as great as it can be, can also bring a lot of drama and heartache. Being a teen is hard enough without all that mumbo jumbo.
Linaya is and has been wanting to date for a few years. She has met a VERY nice young man (whom we like a lot) and they have become quite good friends. This makes her want to date even more. Poor girl thinks us horrible parents are ruining her life by not letting her date. (Just kidding she's actually been pretty good about it.)
Dad has told Linaya that she can start dating on April 13th. The day before her 16th birthday. So, Linaya and her "non boyfriend" have it scheduled to become boyfriend and girlfriend on the 13th of April.
This chicken calendar is a count down until April 13th. ONLY 96 more days!
Little does she know...Her "non boyfriend" and us parents have gotten together and planned out a big surprise for her. She will have to wait until Valentine's Day to find out =) Maybe I will come back later and share the surprise with you!
Anyways, The Cutting Cafe Planner has a lot of great printables and add ons. I want to make a couple Bucket Lists. One for the year and one for Life. There is also a print out for a TO DO list which is something I am going to print out for each one of my kids. There are times when I have them do extra chores and they like to have them broken down between kids AND on a list.
Don't forget to hop on over to The Cutting Cafe Blog to check out what the rest of the DT made and leave some love on that post. You will be entered in a chance to win 3 free Cutting Cafe files of your choice.
