Reneabouquets Pegacorn Mini Canvas

Good morning! I hope your Monday is off to a good start. I know Monday's can be hard. My day is going to be a happy one. My husband comes back from his hunting trip. Him and some boys from work flew to Kodiak to hunt deer and goats. They've been gone since last Monday. The girls and I are all anxiously awaiting his return.

The swap for this month in the Reneabouquets Artists With An Edge Facebook Group was a mini canvas. I was super excited to participate in this.

I already had the Beautiful Board Pegacorn, so I got started right away.

I covered the Pegacorn in Ranger Ink clear Embossing Ink and then sprinkled white embossing powder on it. (My white embossing powder has gold sprinkles) After using the heat tool to set the powder, I set the Pegacorn aside.

I started making my canvas and Echo started falling in love. She kept telling me how beautiful it was and how badly she wanted it to hang in her bedroom.

I coated the mini canvas with gesso, dried it with my heat tool, put Tim Holtz Crackle Texture paste on with a heart stencil, dried it again, cut out a couple La-La Land Crafts Cloud Die cuts, and then used Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and the cloud die cuts to make clouds on the canvas.

To finish the canvas off, I added mulberry flowers, glass beautiful beads, lace, beautiful board leaf skeleton, and beautiful beads. You will find links to all of the Reneabouquet products that I used below.

Echo liked the canvas so much that I decided to give it to her and make another one for my swap partner =)

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you all have a great week!
Hugs,
          Tina
