In the Pumpkin Patch with La-La Land Crafts

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! I am a movin' and a shakin' today. Starting out with sharing this La-La Land Crafts Friday inspiration with you. 

Our theme this week is In the Pumpkin Patch. Have you ever been to a pumpkin patch? In Washington, growing up, our family went to the pumpkin patch every year to pick out our pumpkins. It was so much fun. They had hay bail rides, games, animals a corn maze and snack. 

Here in Alaska, there's a you pick farm which is kind of like the pumpkin patch, but very different. We have to pick the pumpkins early (usually) due to the freezing weather. We do go to their Fall Harvest party though. The kids have lots of fun. 

I gave the plaid another try! I am loving how this turned out. I colored the jacket a light orange and then added the brown and orange stripes. Then I used the colorless blender marker to make stripes. I love how the colorless blender makes lighter tones of the colors I had used. 

I am going to continue working on doing plaid and other clothing patterns. I usually turn to Pinterest to find clothes that inspire me. 

For the curly ques on the pumpkins, I used the Balloons Die. I love how that turned out!
