It's all about shoes at The Cutting Cafe this week.
I chose to use the Witch Boot Shaped Card for my project. However, I didn't make a card.
I chose to use the Witch Boot Shaped Card for my project. However, I didn't make a card.
It's a 12 inch x 10 inch Witch Boot wall hanging!
I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the Witch Boot Shaped Card. I used the Witch Boot Shaped Card as a template.
I wanted to make the wall hanging out of thin wood. So as my husband was leaving for his 2 day hunting trip, I told him that I was going to be using his bandsaw while he was gone. He looked at me shook his head and said NNNOOOOO. I said nothing. I only started at him thinking WWWHHHAAAATTTT!!?!?!? Did you just tell me no? You know that I'm going to use it anyway, right? He stopped in his tracks, turned around and went to the bandsaw. "What are you doing?!?! Making it so I can't use it. He says "No, I'm putting the guard down so that when you use it, even though I said no, you won't cut your fingers off." I laughed, walked over to him and gave him a big hug. "You know me so well!"
Ok, back to the Witch Boot . I took the template and traced it onto a piece of thin wood and then cut it out with the bandsaw. Using that bandsaw was a lot harder than I remember! Shhhh! We won't tell the man that!
Now that the hard part was done, I covered the Witch Boot with cardstock and embellish.
I absolutely love how my Witch Boot turned out!
