Reneabouquets Tea Time Card and October 2018 Mood Board Challenge

Hi everyone! Today is the 1st of the month which means we are starting a new Mood Board Challenge over at Reneabouquets. 

This month we are going with a Fall theme. What is Fall to you? To me Fall is beautiful colors, hot drinks, cool days and falling leaves. 

The card I made to kick off this months challenge is sporting the brand new Beautiful Board Garden Party Tea Time Set. I can picture myself all snuggled up next to the fire, book in one hand and one of these gorgeous tea cups in the other.


I colored the teapot with distress markers. These markers work awesome for adding color to Beautiful Board pieces! 


Reneabouquets now has Flat Back Pearls! Take a look at the toffee one's that I used here...


They are so shiny and add a nice texture. 




 The Mood Board for this month is gorgeous! I absolutely love Fall colors.

La-La Land Crafts Halloween Box Card

Hello there! Halloween is just around the corner. Are you ready with sweets and treats for your little Boo's? I am only just getting started. 

Here is a little inspiration for you using the NEW RELEASE from La-La Land Crafts. 


I made this box card using the NEWLY RELEASED Happy Boo To You Clear Stamp Set and the NEWLY RELEASED Batty For You Clear Stamp Set. 


I used acetate strips to glue the images and die cuts to. I am always saving the acetate off of packaging to use for box cards and shaker cards. My kids give me a hard time about keeping garbage, but I like to reuse whatever I can. 


I colored the witch and the bat with Copic markers. You will find the color combinations below.

Reneabouquets Fairy Card

I'm back with a mixed media card for Reneabouquets! I tried doing a video my card making process of this card. To be honest, it didn't turn out well. In true Tina fashion, most of the video is upside down. Someday I will figure out what I'm doing and will be able to share a good video! Hahahaha


This little fairy is so cute. Her name is Lissie B. Renea has made gorgeous little butterflies to match Lissie B's wings. I added glitter to the wings of both the butterflies and the fairy. Everything's better with a little sparkle =) 


I colored the beautiful board leaves and beautiful board gears with distress inks. 



To add a little texture to the card, I used the beautiful Pale Pink Chunky Glitter Glass. 


What I love about using Renea's products is that they are so unique. That makes our projects unique...and beautiful.

La-La Land Crafts Monthly Club Kit - September 2018

Good morning lovelies! I have more inspiration for you using the fabulous September Club Kit from La-La Land Crafts. 


I love Marci in her fancy dress and little apron. 

I colored Marci with Copic markers.

I cut the nested dies so that they would tuck nicely behind Marci. I used the rest to tuck behind the cardstock layers. 

For my next card, I used a couple of the adorable bears that come in the September Club Kit. 


I had these papers in my scrap stash. I saw them and thought they would look beautiful together. I was right! I like the soft shabby feel. The Half Doily and the Doily Border Dies are perfect for a shabby look. 

The bears are colored with Copic markers.

 I started out by coloring the bear with the lightest color and then making little dots all over. Shading with the darkest color and then working my way out to the lightest color.

Use New Release - La-La Land Crafts

Good morning crafty friends. Let me tell you, I am so thankful that it is finally Friday! It's been a long week and I am ready for some relaxation and craft time. 

This week we are using the NEW RELEASE for out La-La Land Crafts inspiration projects. 


I used the Happy Boo to You Clear Stamp Set. I love this little girl in her pumpkin suit! I decided to go with a white pumpkin. I gave it a tiny hint of orange in the shading. 
Copic markers were my choice of medium for this project. I even gave some color to the Filigree Pumpkins Die cuts with the copic markers. You will find the color combinations that I used below. 


This card is super simple to me, but I love the way it turned out. I have to learn that sometimes, less is more! I'm not sure why it's so hard for me to create clean and simple. 


I raised the little girl off of the card using foam squares.
Before adding the grass boarder die, I curled and bent the blades of grass to give it a little dimension.

La-La Land Crafts September Club Kit Release

Good morning! Guess what day it is?! That's right!! La-La Land Crafts Club Kit release day!! 
Septembers Club Kit is just too cute! 

I don't know about you, but I love everything about mason jars! With this Club Kit, there's a mini jar!! And a bear holding a jar! Oh the possibilities! 

Take a look at everything that comes with the September Club Kit. 


Crazy cute!! I love Irina's coloring. She really has a knack for putting cute patterns on clothing. 

So, I've talked before about being a member of the monthly La-La Land Crafts Club Kits. Do you remember me mentioning the tutorials that come with the membership? Yep...each Club Kit DT member writes up a tutorial on one of the projects they make for the release. What I love about having to do these tutorials is that it pushes me to find something new to try myself. This month, I made a gel card. Ever heard of that? I have only seen one. I didn't go looking on Pinterest where there's probably a gazillion. Anyhow, I decided to give it a go. 


Turned out pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself =) If you are already a subscriber to the monthly Club Kit, you will see the tutorial on how I this gel card. If you're not...you can run on over and sign up! You have the 15th and 16th to sign up and receive the September Club Kit. After that, you will be receiving the October Club Kit.

The second card that I made with the September Club Kit was much more simple. I colored Marci's apron with blueberries this time. I wanted to have blueberry paper to match.


I made my own! I used the So Many Layering Dots Stencil and distress ink to create my blueberries. I love how it turned out! I am learning to be a little more creative in the way that I use the stencils...thanks to the awesome La-La Land Crafts DT!

Use a Stencil with La-La Land Crafts

Good morning and happy Friday! It looks like we have a gorgeous Fall weekend in store for us here in Palmer, Alaska. Fall comes early here and only lasts for about 2 months. I cherish the warm sun, pretty colors, yummy smells and the delicious hot drinks that come with the season. 

Ok, moving on the reason you stopped in! Today's card is a La-La Land Crafts card. Our theme this week is to use a stencil. Easy peasy! Especially since La-La Land Crafts started selling stencils! 


I chose to use the So Many Dots Layering Stencils. I love how the La-La Land Crafts stencils are made to layer or to use individually. 


The designer cardstock that I used is from Reneabouquets. Renea sells gorgeous packs of cardstock from Prima, Blue Fern, and Graphic 45. 


I really like the pink and blue together. It's not a color combo that I see together often. 


Autumn Marci is colored with Copic markers. I love how Marci's hair is blowing in the wind.
