Beautiful Mermaid and DT Call Extension

Hi everyone!
I have a fun card to share with you today made from one of Ady Amanza's digis.
This digi actually comes in a digital coloring book called Siren Dreams. The coloring book has 10 digi stamps and 2 pre colored images. I absolutely love these images! They are gorgeous. If you would like to check out more of Ady's doll art you can find her blog HERE.

To create the background I used Tim Holtz distress inks.
The sunset is done with Victorian Velvet, Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey.
The water is done with Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans.
I used Decorative Accents sand to make the beach and some tiny little shells. The starfish and sand dollars were cut with my Cricut Explore.

I used watercolor pencils to color the image and then added sequins to her tail.
The sequins are from Virginia Turtle Stamps.

Good news!!! We have extended the DT call for Ady's digis. If you are interested in being on this awesome DT and working with these beautiful images please email me at tfrog77@aol.com with your name, pictures of 3 of your best projects,

Playing With Printable Sets

Hello Everyone! Fall is already on it's way here in Alaska.
The kids are back in school, football season is under way and it's almost hunting season.
Now that everything is getting settled, I can sit back and relax a little before the Holidays. Today I am doing that by playing with these adorable printable sets from The Cutting Cafe.

I made a little coloring book out of these little cuties. I printed the images at 5x7 (on white cardstock) and used my Yourstory book binder/laminating machine to make a little book.
The cover is card stock from a DCWV Stack.

I bought markers and colored pencils to go along with the coloring book I am sending it off  as a surprise to a little girl who loves art.

I also made a card for today's assignment.
I found the layout on line. I can't for the life of me remember where...sorry about that.

Please stop by The Cutting Cafe on the 7th and 21st of every month to check out all the projects from the DT. If you leave a comment on the DT post you will be entered to win 3 free sets of your choice.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Clean and Simple

Hello! I'm back again today with another project.
My goal is to learn to make clean and simple cards. I am a HUGE fan of clean and simple.
However, I have a really hard time creating a clean and simple.
It's the craziest thing. How can simple be hard?
Anyways, I am bound and determined to get the hang of this!
Here's what I'm starting out with...
the card is featuring a digi from Mari's Digis. Her digis are adorable!

I added a little Stardust Stickles to the flowers to make them sparkle.

The sentiment is a stamp from Sweet N' Sassy Stamps. The set is called God is bigger.
Thank you for stopping by again. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

From Trash To Treasure Altered Formula Can

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday to you all.
Today I have an altered formula can to share with you.

Can you believe that started out looking like this?!?

I've been hanging on to this can for over 3 years. Crazy I know!
I knew I would do something with it SOMEDAY.
I used some gorgeous Graphic45 paper to cover the canister.
The adhesive I used on the card stock is Elmer's Craft Bond spray adhesive. It is my favorite adhesive for projects like this. There is no warping or bubbling in the paper.

I curled the twine with a ribbon curling iron. Really, there is such a thing!
I got it at Micheal's. I have so much fun with it.

The lace is from Gone Artsy. Its my favorite lace!

The big pink flowers are from the Cricut image set Flower Shoppe. It is #M4709B.
I cut the image out 3 times at different sizes, inked the edges with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink, curled up the petals and then attached the layers with hot glue.

The little flowers are from Micheal's.

Aren't those love birds the cutest!?!

The beautiful dragonfly and butterfly are from Renea's Bouquets. She has the most beautiful embellishments and much more.

Later today I will be abandoning my canister somewhere with a $10 gift certificate to Starbucks.
Fun, right! It is the challenge going on right now in the Gone Artsy Challenge Group on Facebook. You have until the 15th of this month if you'd like to play along.

Have a great day!

Mini Happy Birthday Cards

Hello everyone and welcome to all my new followers!
It's hard to believe I started out 2015 with just 15 followers and now I have 90.
I appreciate you all so much! I think it's about time to start thinking about a giveaway =)

Today at The Cutting Cafe we are using the

I used the Mini Note Pad and Card Set to make 20 mini birthday cards.

Kylah will be giving them to her teacher along with the Mini Note Pad she made.
You can see the note pad HERE. It's super cute!

Each one of these cuties comes with its own envelop.
The candle that I used is from the Candle Shaped Card set. I put in into Cricut Design Space and shrunk it down to fit on the Mini Card.

I love these miniature cards! They are so adorable.
A card like this would be perfect to give with a gift basket or flowers.

Here they are all bundled up. I used my ribbon curling iron to curl the twine. I love that thing!

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to stop by The Cutting Cafe tomorrow for the DT inspirational post. If you leave a comment you will be entered to win 3 free files of your choice. Have a craftastic day!
