Reneabouquets Lilac Heart Mixed Media Card

Good morning! Today is a super special day in the Goodwin house. Our baby turns 8! I don't know how that happened so quickly. 

Last night, we flew to Washington. We are going to be celebrating her birthday for the first time with our family. The best part...she had no idea! 

Today is also a sad day for me, as it is my last post as a Reneabouquets design team member. I have LOVED being on this team! I have learned so much about being a mixed media artist. Life has just gotten a bit crazy and I need to free up some time. 


Reneabouquets has the most beautiful supplies, this store will forever be one of my favorites! 


The flowers and butterflies are among my favorite supplies. They are used on every single Reneabouquets project that I make.

La-La Land Crafts Enjoy Card Using New Release

Good morning! How are you this fine Friday morning? I am starting the day out by coloring with Jennifer Dove...Copic Boot Camp instructor! She is here in Alaska visiting family. We met last week for the first time at a cute little scrapbook store in Wasilla...Love Scraps. 

After meeting and spending a couple hours coloring, we decided we needed to fit in a few more girl time dates before she had to leave Alaska. I am beyond excited! I love making new crafty friends. 

Ok, enough babbling! Today we worked with the La-La Land Crafts June New Release. There are so many new images in this release! I could have months of cards with it. Not to mention, the dies are some of my favorite released...EVER! 

I chose to work with In the Garden Marci. She is so cute! This time, I colored her up in purple. Purple is my favorite color right now. My favorite color changes every once in a while. Anyone else like that?


Once I chose which papers to use, this card kind of fell into place. I love when I don't have to spend hours trying to figure out the layout of a card!

La-La Land Crafts Masculine Card Using New Release

Hi there! Happy Friday! The summer weeks are just flying by. I really want them to slow down just a little. If you figure out how to make that happen, please, let me know!! 


This week we are making masculine cards with new released products.. I decided to make my husband's Father's Day card using the new Best of Cluck Clear Stamp Set. I used 4 little chicks. One for each of our kids. 

I created the sunrise background using the Stitched Clouds Border Die and distress inks. If you look closely you can see that I used the Harlequin Layering Stencils in the sunrise.

La-La Land Crafts June Release Day 3 - Blooming Marci

Hello! Hello! Day three of the La-La Land Crafts new release. Today I got to work with one of the new red rubber stamps. 


This is Blooming Marci. I colored her with Copic markers. Her dress has tiny little daisies on the sleeves. I designed it after some of the adorable t-shirt dresses that are in right now. I love these dresses. They are so comfy!

La-La Land Crafts June Release Day 2 - Love to Garden Clear Stamp Set

Good morning! It's day two of the La-La Land Crafts new release. Today I got to play with the NEW!! Love to Garden Clear Stamp Set. 


These little girls are just adorable! I colored her with Copic markers and used distress ink to create the background paper.



Of course, I love all of the clear stamp sets that were released. I cannot decide which set is my favorite.

The dies in this release are awesome too!

La-La Land Crafts June Release - In Hog Heaven

Good morning! Guess what?!? Today is the first day of the La-La Land Crafts June NEW RELEASE. Let me tell you, this release has some of the cutest stamps!  

I started by creating with the NEW In Hog Heaven Clear Stamp Set. I am in love with these pigs! 


PIGS AND CHICKENS!!! The clear stamps in this release are so stinking cute! I love them all! 


Take a look at the background paper on my card. I created the paper with the NEW stencil set! This may be my favorite stencil yet. 

The release also has some super cute background stamps as well. Take a look. 


Of course, there are some new rubber stamps in the June release. I was excited to see a new Luka. He is such a cutie. I love how he has his hands tucked in his pockets. 


Last but not least...the NEW DIES!! The dies are always what I am most excited to see. Irina did not disappoint! These dies are totally FAB!

Reneabouquets June 2019 Mood Board Challenge

Hi there! I was able to get my hands dirty this weekend working on this altered alarm clock for the Reneabouquets June Mood Board Challenge. 


I started out by painting it with a layer of Gesso and then used Prima Finnabair Art Rust Paste to color the clock. To add a little texture, I mixed broken up egg shells and sand into the paste.  


I colored the gears the same way.
