La-La Land Crafts New Release Java Nice Day

Good morning!! Today is the final day of the La-La Land Crafts new release. 

I think a lot of you will like this one. Especially my coffee loving friends! 

This one is made with the new Java Nice Day Clear Stamp Set. I love the fancy coffee design stamp that is included in this set. The sentiments are a lot of fun too. 

My favorite part about this card is the heart patterned paper, which I created with the Forever Background Stamp Set. I inked the stamp with distress ink, stamped it on the cardstock and then I sprayed the cardstock with water. It almost looks like I spilled coffee on the card. Perfect right!?! 

I have really enjoyed working with these new stamps! I cannot wait to see what you do with them! Make sure you post your creations in the La-La Land Crafts Facebook group.

La-La Land Crafts New Release Take it Sloth Clear Stamp Set

Hi there! Are you ready for more new release awesomeness from La-La Land Crafts?! 

Today's card is made with the Take it Sloth Clear Stamp Set. I have fallen in love with sloths recently. I was so excited to see that La-La Land Crafts was adding them to their collection. 

I created the background using distress inks and the new Hearts Harlequin Layering Stencils. This set of stencils is my favorite out of the La-La Land Crafts stencils. I can see myself using these often.

La-La Land Crafts New Release Marci with Headphones

Good morning everyone! It's Monday! Not your typical boring Monday, but an exciting one...La-La Land Crafts is showcasing their new release. 

I usually post on Friday's, but I have been sick and fell a little behind. Therefore, I am posting with the Monday team. 

The first newly released stamp that I got to play with is Marci with Headphones. 

This is such an adorable image! A friend of mine, I actually call her my twin because we have so much in common. Anyway, we colored this image the same day, not knowing that the other was coloring her...we used the same colors! It was too funny. 

I colored the image with Copic markers. You will find all the color combinations below.

La-La Land Crafts Use Hearts

Hi there! Happy Friday friends. Today the La-La Land Crafts Friday team is working with hearts.

I chose Comfy Sweater Marci for my card today. I have colored this image before. You can see that card HERE. 

I love working with this image. I think the hat may be my favorite piece to color. To get the texture in the hat, I don't really "color" it. I just put tiny dots all over the hat. Starting with the darkest color and working my way out to the lightest. 

I was able to make most of this card from scraps. I love when I can do that! 

The teal hearts are from the Small Envelope Die. I cut three of them and used just the heart. I saved the envelopes for a later project. 

I cut six squares using the Double Stitched Squares Die set. Three from teal cardstock and three from the heart patterned cardstock. The squares with the heart pattern on them, I trimmed down to the stitches.

La-La Land Crafts Unicorn Marci

Good morning and happy Friday! This weekend is going to be a busy one! Seems like the older my kids get, the busier my weekends get. I am enjoying it while I can. I know they will be moving out before I know it and my weekends will be too quiet. 

Anyhow, this week at La-La Land Crafts, we are using the new release. I chose to work with Unicorn Marci. She is just too cute in her unicorn jammies! 

I had to work with the unicorn girls! My girls LOVE everything unicorn! 

I used the new Magical Sparkles Stencil, a white gel pen and the Small Stars Die to create the background. I really like how Unicorn Marci stands out against the night sky.

This card was the first time I had the opportunity to use the Filigree Moon Die. I had bought it after seeing Irina use it on one of her cards. I was excited to finally put it to use. It's a gorgeous die.

I colored Unicorn Marci with Copic markers. While I was coloring, I realized my skin combination markers REALLY needs to be cleaned! Coloring with dirty markers can leave a rough and shiny texture to your coloring. 

Cleaning the markers is NOT my favorite thing to do! Oh! Someone should start a marker cleaning business for lazy colorers like me!

La-La Land Crafts Unicorn Molli

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all doing well this Friday morning. I am looking forward to the weekend. I need some craft therapy! 

Today for the La-La Land Crafts Team Friday inspiration, we made cards using the new release. 

I decided to work with Unicorn Molli . I have seen her colored up many times. Mostly in light colors. Which were beautiful. I wanted to go a little different so, I decided to go with dark colors. I think she looks fabulous! 

I used a white gel pen to add sparkles to her hair, skirt and boots.
