Reneabouquets Valentines Day Shaker Card

Good morning crafty friends! Today at Reneabouquets we are kicking off a new mood board challenge. Before I move on, I'd like to thank everyone for joining our challenges and making them successful. We have had so many gorgeous entries. I am thankful that the winner of the challenges are drawn at random! I'd never be able to choose one myself. 

To kick off this months challenge, I made a Shabby Valentines Day shaker card. 


I know I just made a shaker, but I am telling you...I am in love with these new shaker boxes that Renea made. If you haven't tried to make a shaker with these, you totally should! 


If you hadn't guessed it already, the theme for this months mood board challenge is Valentines Day/Romantic.

Reneabouquets Shaker Card

Good morning! It is the last day of January! Are you still on track with your New Years resolutions? I do not make resolutions, because I never follow through. This year, I did set some goals though. One goal being that I will go through one room every month clean, organize and simplify. I am happy to say that we concord two rooms this month. The living room and the the master bedroom. 

Anyways, on to today's card! This is a Reneabouquets card. Renea has designed a shaker box. I am so excited about this! Putting together this box is soooo simple! No double sided foam tape needed! The pieces shake freely also. 


I found this sentiment on a paper pack that I had gotten from Reneabouquets awhile back. Then I remembered that I had a crown trinket that would fit perfectly with the sentiment. 


The crown and the Beautiful Bead look beautiful together, don't you think? 


Of course, Renea also had the perfect butterfly to go with the colors of my project. These butterflies are always my favorite addition to any card or project that I make. Each one is beautifully detailed.

January 2019 La-La Land Crafts Club Kit Fun

Good morning! How are you this beautiful Tuesday morning? We have been having warm weather for the last couple of weeks. It has been so nice to walk outside without your face freezing off.  

Anyway, I have been playing with the January 2019 La-La Land Crafts Club Kit again. I cannot get enough of these little pandas! 


This kit is perfect for Valentines cards. 
Along with the club kit dies, I used the Postage Stamp Die and the Double Stitched Squares Die.


I used Copic markers to color the pandas.

I now have a good collection of Valentines started. It's a good thing that I have lots of little Valentines to send them too =)

La-La Land Crafts Valentines Card

Hello and happy Friday! This week the La-La Land Crafts design team is working on Valentines Day cards. I was excited to see this theme as I love making Valentines. 


I used Knight Luka for my card. I chose him because I want to give this card to my husband. He is my night in shining armor. WARNING...IT'S ABOUT TO GET MUSHY. 

Andrew and I have been best friends since high school. We actually didn't start dating until about 10 years after we graduated. When we started dating, I had two small children. Victor was two and Linaya had just turned one. 

After a year and a half of dating we got married. He later adopted both of my children. It takes an amazing man to adopt another mans child and make them his own. Andrew did this without batting an eye. 

Through our time together, Andrew has taught me so much. He has been the one person I can always count on. My rock. My anchor. My safe place. I could not be more thankful. He is my gift from God.

La-La Land Crafts CHA 2019 New Release Be Unique and Heart Garland Marci

Good morning and welcome to day 3 of the La-La Land Crafts Creativation release! 


Meet Heart Garland Marci. Isn't she darling?! I love her little dress. 

While making this card, I decided to see what my patterned paper would look like up against the Once Upon A Time Background Stamp. I was happy to discover that this background stamp also looked good on everyday cards.

La-La Land Crafts CHA 2019 New Release Love Notes and Dreams Come True

Good morning! Welcome to day two of the La-La Land Crafts Creativation release! 

The first stamp set I worked with for today is Love Notes. This set is absolutely adorable! 


Take a look at this adorable envelope die. The front of it has a tiny stitched heart.

On to my second card today. I used the Once Upon a Story Background Stamp to make a stone wall. 


I like the way the background stamp looks behind the Tall Castle Die cuts. I made it pop a bit by adding some white highlights with a gel pen. 

The Absolutely Perfect Clear Stamp Set is full of sentiments for any occasion. I am loving the big words and the way you can match them up with the smaller words or simply use them alone.

La-La Land Crafts CHA 2019 New Release Ballet Marci and Sightseeing Marci

Good morning everyone! Creativation (formerly known as CHA) is this weekend in Arizona. Going to Creativation is on my bucket list. It's actually the place that started my bucket list. 

What does Creativation mean to you and me? NEW RELEASE of course!! So many awesome things are being released today. The La-La Land Crafts DT will be posting projects made with the new release Friday - Wednesday. Tons of inspiration! 

Since I am not able to be there physically, I will settle for my work being there =) For the last 2 years I have had the honor of having my work at Creativation. All because of the wonderful La-La Land Crafts company. 

The first project that I made is a 3D project. It's a little suit case!

On to the second project for today. A ballerina card. 


For this card, I used the new Ballerina Marci stamp. I wanted to make her tutu 3D. I cut out two Tutu Die cuts and colored them to match her outfit. I attached the tutu layers with foam squares and then used a strand of flatback pearls to adhere them to the tutu on the image. I love how it gives a little life to her outfit.

La-La Land Crafts January 2019 Club Kit Release

Good morning! Today is an exciting day! The reveal of the La-La Land Crafts Monthly Club Kit! 


 I was so excited to see that the pandas came back this month. They are so cute! 


The dies this month are awesome too! Loving the little wings. 

Every month, the design team does one project tutorial for the club kit members. This month, I did a tutorial on this little milk carton. This is the first time that I have made one of these without a cutting machine. I was pleased with how simple it was. 


The cardstock that I used is from BoBunny. This is some of my favorite Valentine's paper. I have had it for a couple years. I am going to see if I can get my hands on some more.

The second project I made with the new kit is a card. 


I had a lot of fun coloring Marci for this one. Instead of coloring her legs skin color, I thought it would be cute if she was wearing leggings. I colored her legs pink and then added tiny green hearts to match her shirt.

Reneabouquets Scrapbook Layout and January 2019 Mood Board Challegne

Hi everyone! I am super excited to share the new Reneabouquets Artist with an Edge mood board challenge with you! 

To kick off this challenge, I made a 12 inch x 12 inch layout. I put it in a frame and gave it to a friend with a picture of her baby. 


I had asked Renea to make these wings with this layout in mind. When she showed me what she came up with I was in awe. Seeing the wings made me a little emotional, to be honest. Renea never disappoints! 


I used micro beads to add texture. I painted the cardstock with mod podge and sprinkled the micro beads over the glue. Once that dried, I did another layer of glue and micro beads. 


Look at these tiny feet! They are adorable! 


This is the mood board for this months challenge. 


I love the blue! It's fresh and bright. Like a new beginning.
