In Style Marcy Tag

Good morning! I am trying to decide how I should spend my Friday. There's cleaning to be done, school shopping, class prep, weeding...I don't want to do any of that. I'd much rather spend the day coloring! Think I can get away with that? I may just have to wait for coloring days until October when I get to go to Copic Boot Camp! As if that weren't enough to be excited about, I get to meet a couple of my crafty friends in person while there. I could not be more excited!

Ok, enough rambling...this week we are making tags over at La-La Land Crafts. I know there's a lot of tag lovers out there. I don't often make tags, but love them when I do. They make perfect bookmarks if you leave them flat.


I used In Style Marci on my tag. I always love seeing Marci in glasses. She is so cute! I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the lenses. 

Making the flowers on Marci's shirt was super simple. I make the spots on her shirt with the red and then use a white gel pen, starting in the center of the spot and spiral my way to the outside of the spot. Then I add the leaves.

I am in love with the Vintage Sewing Machine Die! I cut it out in layers to get different colored parts.

La-La Land Crafts Interactive Card


Hello and happy Friday people! This week we are creating interactive cards at La-La Land Crafts. I love when we are given this theme for the week. There are so many different types of interactive cards. Monday's La-La Land Crafts team had a couple that I had never heard of. Gives me a little something to look forward to!

Anywho, lets get on to the card that I made. Just by looking at it, you can't tell it's an interactive card. 


But, if you give the card a shake, Barefoot Luka dance. They are adhered on a tiny plastic spring. I purchased the springs from 7 Kids Crafting Supplies. 

The springs are not only nice to use for wiggly characters, they also provide a little depth to your card. I like to have lots of different layers on my cards.

Reneabouquets Lilac Heart Mixed Media Card

Good morning! Today is a super special day in the Goodwin house. Our baby turns 8! I don't know how that happened so quickly. 

Last night, we flew to Washington. We are going to be celebrating her birthday for the first time with our family. The best part...she had no idea! 

Today is also a sad day for me, as it is my last post as a Reneabouquets design team member. I have LOVED being on this team! I have learned so much about being a mixed media artist. Life has just gotten a bit crazy and I need to free up some time. 


Reneabouquets has the most beautiful supplies, this store will forever be one of my favorites!

La-La Land Crafts Enjoy Card Using New Release

Good morning! How are you this fine Friday morning? I am starting the day out by coloring with Jennifer Dove...Copic Boot Camp instructor! She is here in Alaska visiting family. We met last week for the first time at a cute little scrapbook store in Wasilla...Love Scraps. 

After meeting and spending a couple hours coloring, we decided we needed to fit in a few more girl time dates before she had to leave Alaska. I am beyond excited! I love making new crafty friends. 

Ok, enough babbling! Today we worked with the La-La Land Crafts June New Release. There are so many new images in this release! I could have months of cards with it. Not to mention, the dies are some of my favorite released...EVER! 

I chose to work with In the Garden Marci. She is so cute! This time, I colored her up in purple. Purple is my favorite color right now. My favorite color changes every once in a while. Anyone else like that?


Once I chose which papers to use, this card kind of fell into place. I love when I don't have to spend hours trying to figure out the layout of a card!

La-La Land Crafts Masculine Card Using New Release

Hi there! Happy Friday! The summer weeks are just flying by. I really want them to slow down just a little. If you figure out how to make that happen, please, let me know!! 


This week we are making masculine cards with new released products.. I decided to make my husband's Father's Day card using the new Best of Cluck Clear Stamp Set. I used 4 little chicks. One for each of our kids. 

I created the sunrise background using the Stitched Clouds Border Die and distress inks. If you look closely you can see that I used the Harlequin Layering Stencils in the sunrise.

La-La Land Crafts June Release Day 3 - Blooming Marci

Hello! Hello! Day three of the La-La Land Crafts new release. Today I got to work with one of the new red rubber stamps. 


This is Blooming Marci. I colored her with Copic markers. Her dress has tiny little daisies on the sleeves. I designed it after some of the adorable t-shirt dresses that are in right now. I love these dresses. They are so comfy!

La-La Land Crafts June Release Day 2 - Love to Garden Clear Stamp Set

Good morning! It's day two of the La-La Land Crafts new release. Today I got to play with the NEW!! Love to Garden Clear Stamp Set. 


These little girls are just adorable! I colored her with Copic markers and used distress ink to create the background paper.



Of course, I love all of the clear stamp sets that were released. I cannot decide which set is my favorite.
