Fern From Rubbernecker Stamps

Good morning and happy Monday! Today I am sharing a project for Rubbernecker Stamps

I used the adorable Fern Cartoon Kid stamp for today's project. I cannot get enough of these sassy girl stamps! I love their clothes. This is the first time I colored ruffles where I actually thought they looked like ruffles.
I absolutely LOVE the paper that I used for Fern's background. It's from BoBunny's Petal Lane paper line. It's totally made me fall in love with the color yellow (for now. I go through phases). So be prepared to see some cards with yellow! Yellow is really not a color that I create with a lot. It's kinda fun to experiment with a new color.

I used Fern's Die Cut to cut her out and placed her on a Spellbinders Lacey Ovals Nestabilities die cut.
The adorable pink butterfly was made by my Great Aunt. She made me a bunch of them in different colors. The process she uses is called Tatting. I had never heard of Tatting until she started doing it. It's really neat to sit and watch her. She told me that her Mom used to do Tatting when she was a kid.

I colored Fern with Copic markers. I love her red hair! I colored her clothes in pink and black to match the BoBunny paper. I find it easier to pick papers out and then color an image to match the papers instead of vice versa.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Stop by the Rubbernecker Stamps store to check out all their stamps. They have some great stamps to create scenery with and also some hilarious sentiments!

You can also check out the Rubbernecker Blog here. Rubbernecker Stamps has challenges for you to enter your projects in.
