World Wide Open Champion of Champions Design Team Challenge 2016

Hi crafty friends! Today the World Wide Open Challenge is having a
Champion of Champions DT Challenge! If you have been a winner in ANY category in the Word Wide Open DT Challenges you can enter the Champion of Champions DT Challenge.

For this challenge I colored img841.

I decided to do a clean and simple card with this image.

I printed the image on 110lb paper from J & S Hobbies and Crafts. I wanted to try it out and see how it compared to Copic paper. I have to say that I was pretty impressed with it. I have tried A LOT of different cardstocks for printing my images. Copic paper is still my favorite, but I would recommend this to anyone that didn't want to spend the money on that.

The sentiment is written with my handy dandy Cricut Explore.
I friggen love that thing!

Thanks for stopping by today! Good luck in the Champion of Champions DT Challenge!

Flowers With The Cutting Cafe

Hi there! It's inspiration time over at The Cutting Cafe
I love adding the sentiments like this. Often times I don't know where to put them. With this file I don't have to put any thought into it.

I used the Paper Flowers file from The Cutting Cafe to make the flowers.
This is my favorite file! I love that you can make the flowers different sizes and colors.

I love the sentiments that come on these stems.

Thank you for stopping by today. Please stop by The Cutting Cafe on the 21st to see what the rest of the DT has made. If you leave a comment on that inspirational post you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free files of your choice.

Guest Designer For Artbymiran

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be guest designing for artbymiran today.
I just love their images!

For my project, I decided to use the image Coraline106. She is just gorgeous.

I have used flat back pearls from Glitz N Glam Girly Boutique, foam flowers from Gone Artsy and paper flowers from Glimpz of Memories

The ivy die is a Spellbinders die. This was the first time I have used it. I love it!

Thank you Mi Ran for giving me the opportunity to guest design for you.

Hope you have all enjoyed today's card. Have a great weekend!

Fluffy and Fabulous!

Hi there! I am here to share a FABULOUS new Fluffy Bestie.

This is img044 you can find her and more My Besties in the My Bestie Shop.

I colored her with Copic markers. You can find the color combos below.

I added texture to her jeans by putting colorless blender on a scrap piece of jean fabric and then pressing it on the Fuffy's jeans. I had a lot of time experimenting with this.

I used my Cricut Explore to write the sentiment.

Shaking Things Up With My Besties

Hi there! It's my day on the Scrapbook Stamp Society blog.
I made a cute little shaker card with the adorable Trudy from the My Bestie Shop.

I colored little miss Trudy with Copic markers. You can find the color combos I used below.

To make the shaker I used the square in the 13 Shaker Card Templates and Cutting Files file from The Cutting Cafe. I used microbeads to fill the shaker. These beads are the best for shakers, in my opinion, because they don't get stuck easily like sequins.

This shaker was super fun to make and even more fun to play with! There's something relaxing about sitting here making these beads roll back and forth.

New My Besite Images

I am back again today with 2 new My Bestie images!
I love having the opportunity to play with the images before they are released!

The first card is sporting Miss Becky Buttons-Sweet Geek. She is so stinking adorable!

And here we have a card with img998. Such a sweet Easter image.

Both images are colored in Copic markers.

I used flat back pearls from Glitz N Glam Girly Boutique to embellish the butterflies.
The beautiful lace was a gift from my friend Vicki.

The Easter egg card is a shaker. I got the file from The Cutting Cafe. It's called Easter Overlays and Shaker Card Templates and Cutting Files. I filled the shaker with microbeads.
I love these shakers! I can sit and play with them forever!
There's something calming about watching those beads roll back and forth.

I used Yellow Starburst Fancy Garden flowers from the My Bestie Shop, a pretty butterfly from Renea's Bouquets and a dark purple rose which I made to embellish my shaker.
The rose is made with another file from The Cutting Cafe...Paper flower template.
This is one of my favorite files! I use it all the time!
I love that you can make the flowers different sizes.
Don't worry if you don't have a cutting machine.
All the files come in PDF form so you can print them out!

Thank you all for stopping by! Have a toadally fabulous night!

MoonFlower Valntine's Card

Good morning and happy Monday to all of my crafty friends!

Today I am sharing a card I made using a MoonFlower image.

This sweet image is called Valentine Teddy.
I colored her with Copic markers.

After I colored her I was wondering what she would look like with bangs. I was afraid to add them to my original coloring because I wasn't sure I'd like it. So, I took a picture of my colored image, printed it and put bangs on the printed image. It turned out cute so, I added bangs to my coloring.

I am just starting to learn to add little details to the images I work with. It's funny how such a little detail can make an image look so different.

The butterfly and glitter glass is from one of my favorite online shops...Renea's Bouquets. She has a ton of gorgeous embellishments!

Thank you very much for stopping by to check out my MoonFlower Valentine!! Hope you have a fabulous week!
