New Meet at the Scrappers Corner Challenge Feb 2016

Hello! I'm back with another new Meet at the Scrappers Corner Challenge.
I made a few projects for the new challenge.
This month I decided to do something a little different with the image I colored.
I altered a notebook using My Bestie img845.

I embellished with lots of feathers, cheesecloth, ribbon, and flowers.
Including the daisies that I made with my Cricut Explore.

For the next 2 projects I made, I used Oct Deco 17. It's a pre colored printable. I used it to make Valentine's cards for the children's hospital =)

You can find both of the images I used in the My Bestie Shop
I hope you will stop by and check out our challenge.
Have a fantastic day!!

Are you ready for another My Bestie Release party?!?
I love that Sherri Ann Baldy is putting out so many new images!

I was able to do two projects for this release. The first one is called "All Things Grow With Love."

This image is so sweet. It made me think of my sister and I when I first saw it.

The second is img988. Isn't she cute!?

Both images are colored with Copic markers.

I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the daisies and the adorable dinosaur.

I hope you can make it to the release party!
You don't want to miss out on these images and the 50% off sale.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great night!

Mason Jar Shaker Card From The Cutting Cafe

Good morning Crafters!
I recently joined a shaker card swap in one of my favorite Facebook groups.

I already knew where I was going to get the shaker file...The Cutting Cafe
The only trouble I had was picking which one to do! They have a ton of adorable options!

I finally decided on the jar shaker from the 13 Shaker templates and cutting files set.

My partner loves pink and vintage. I started digging through my papers and found
a set I had bought from Art Attack Supplies awhile back.
I had the perfect sequins to match from Virginia Turtle Stamps

To give the lid a worn, rusted look I cut it out of silver textured paper. I then used Rusty Paper (which is kinda like a thick paint). I purchased this at Miriam's Crafting Supplies a few months ago. I love it! I have used it one several different projects.

The Cutting Cafe makes these shakers so fun and super simple!
If you don't have a cutting machine, NO PROBLEM!
The sets come in PDF so you can cut them out by hand.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a craftastic day!
Hugs, Tina

Steampunk Phone Frame and Card

Hello crafty friends!
Today I am sharing the gift I made my husband for Valentine's Day.

I found this AWESOME phone frame at Gone Artsy.  They just expanded their shop and have all sorts of super cool stuff now.

These gorgeous flowers are from Gone Artsy too. I love them! They are foam and come in different colors. These ones started out white. I wanted to have a deep red color so I sprayed them with black ink spray and let it dry. Then I sprayed them again with red ink sprayed and dried again. They turned out exactly how I wanted!

I used gears and embellishments from numerous places including Miriam's Crafting Supplies.

I made the card using Mechanica from artbymiran. I colored her with Copic markers.
I am learning to add details to the images I color which has been a lot of fun.
I made the gears rusty looking by coloring with E93 first. Then I took E59 and colored in the areas I wanted the darkest shading. The next step was to color the gear with E08. I left small areas of the lightest color untouched by E08. Lastly I colored with the colorless blender.

Once I had everything colored I added spurts of Goosebumps
spray to the gears to give them more texture.

Copics used...
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Lips: E04, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Eyes: YG03, YG11, YG63, C00, C01
Clothes and Roses: R35, R46, R59, E59
Wings and hoses: C3, C5, C7, C9, 100
Gears: E93, E08, E59, Colorless Blender

The Cutting Cafe Bendi Card

Hello! Hello! Hello! I am so excited to share this card with you today.
This is my first attempt at a bendy card. I've seen lots of these on Pinterest and wanted to give one a try. Instead of trying to do it on my own, I went to Regina and asked her to make a bendy card for The Cutting Cafe. I love the Bendi-Bendy file she created! It comes with lots of cute extras.
I used my Cricut Explore to cut the card and the daisies.
The butterfly border and the flourishes are die cuts.
The sweet little girl is a My Bestie. She is called Peek A Boo Winky
The beautiful butterfly with the roses is from Renea's Bouquets.
Regina made this Bendi-Bendy super easy to put together.
She even has a video to show you how it's done =)

Thank you for stopping by today my friends. Please stop by The Cutting Cafe on the 21st to see the design team's inspirational post. If you leave a comment on that post you will be entered in a chance to win 3 fabulous Cutting Cafe files of your choice.

My daughter Kylah (from Kanga's Krafts) and I have joined forces with Melissa Adler to make Valentine's Day special for about 300 children in the Dornbeckers Children's Hospital.

Thanks to The Cutting Cafe and their awesome Valentine's printable sets, Kylah and I have 50 cards made already. My husband even jumped in to help out. I tried to get a picture of him, but I got caught in the act and SHUT DOWN. Lol.

Kylah and I used the following sets to make our cards...

Here's Kylah with one of the cards that she made.

This adorable little monster is from Little Scraps of Heaven.
